nice user interface. easy and smooth to use. not as comprehensive as weathertrack, but at a third of the price an excellent deal. also great is that loaded grib files can be shared via itunes with mac/pc programs, thus offering a fine way to select and download grib data.

Super app for sailers. Wouldnt be without.

The developer has always been very responsive, and the app has helped better target possible severe storms for me a lot. Highly recommend this app if you want a detailed idea of what the weather might be up to!

What an awesome app for marine weather; air pressure and wind direction. The files are small and quick to download. Is there some way you folks can link this excellent app through shortwave radio for offshore sailors? Highly recomended.

App will open and display grib files ordered through Sailmail, provided the sailmail account is POPd into the iPad mail app. One feature I would like to see is the ability to change the colours of the wind barbs. The current colours can be a little difficult to see. The monochrome setting works, but colours are nicer.

I started using during our trip from Florida to the Bahamas. Accurate about 85% of the time.

If you have any desire to know what the winds going to be doing this is the app! Very accurate and gives play by play of wind speed & direction along with much more data. I use it to advise marine users of potential winds over next 48 hrs. It is important that we issue the correct information to the port users as it may affect the safety. We have in the past always compare PocketGrib with other PC Web based links and PocketGrib provides the great accuracy ! Great tool to add to your cache!
